can be a starting point for anyone seeking to learn more about making your
care giving a positive experience. It will support caregivers in their efforts to
provide care to individuals with chronic illness or disabilities.

Social Anxiety Disorder is a prevalent anxiety disorder that often goes undetected and untreated because many discount it as “normal shyness” or “just a phase.” However, social anxiety often results in numerous impairments in academic, vocational, social, and family functioning, and can lead to the development of future mood or substance use disorders. This webinar will describe social anxiety disorder and present evidence-based treatment approaches as well as parenting strategies to aid in the prevention and treatment of this disorder.
