State Park event on July 26th. We will be meeting at the Hooks Lake area of
the park (please follow signs in the park to the Hooks Lake area). This area
has a swimming lake with a lifeguard stand so bring your bathing suits.
There are picnic tables in the area, as well as a basketball court, a
children's' playground, a snack bar, and restroom facilities. Unfortunately
the area didn't look shady so bring good sun block! Feel free to bring your
own lunch or to buy something at the snack bar. There are picnic tables in
the area, but it's a good idea to bring blankets to eat on because we don't
have the right as a group to reserve all of the lunch tables and keep the
general public out of this area. On weekends, the park charges people $10/car to enter the park so bring your friends and/or family (just let us know the headcount)! |
