that is
helpful and courteous.
2. Offensive language is not permitted.
3. Our Chat Room will be
monitored for inappropriate messages and material.
NJ ARCH
reserves the rights to bar inappropriate participants without warning or
explanation.
4. Any content in Chat
Rooms or NJ ARCH websites, does not necessarily express the
views
of NJ ARCH or Children’s Aid and Family Services, Inc. or their employees.
5. This
Chat Room and its related website pages are intended to provide information
for your own purposes. This information should not be considered to be
completely
error free, nor should it be used as an exclusive basis for decision making.
6.
The user understands that if New Jersey Adoption Resource Clearing House (NJ
ARCH)
or Children's Aid and Family Services, Inc. (CAFS) were to accept the risk of
harm to
the user from the use of this information then we would not be able to make the
information available here because the cost to cover the risks of all harms to
all users
would be too great. Therefore the use of this information is strictly
voluntary and at the
users sole risk.
7. The Chat Room is not provided
with any kind of warranty of accurateness, and you
agree to not
rely upon any such information, but instead will first consult with a competent
adoption

8. Chat Rooms are NOT places for adoptive parents or adoption
Professionals to solicit birthparents. NJ ARCH is committed to making the
community

places where birthparents feel safe. It is not appropriate for adoption
professionals
or hopeful parents to post “I can help” messages, or internet addresses
for
birthmothers to visit, or to send this type of e-mail to birthmothers.
9. Conversely, it is not
appropriate for birthparents to use the Chat Room to solicit
adoptive
parents. Are you pregnant and considering adoption? We strongly recommend
that you do
not select adoptive parents or an adoption professional from the website.
We have no
way of knowing which parents on the message board or other community
services are
qualified to adopt, and which professionals are reputable.
10. We strongly recommend that
you visit the Resources section of our website which lists
all of the
licensed adoption agencies in New Jersey. Any of these agencies can assist
you with
